Back in 2025 we opened a deeply meaningful exhibition in H.D. Schmidt Ait depicting the truly inspirational story of family owned business in Pärnu, which lasted for 200 years.
On Saturday, 8th August 2026 I had the sincere pleasure to welcome Martin Schmidt and his son Rolf Schmidt in Pärnu, together with Eve Merilo, who is their family friend for many years now. we visited the Aida 5 building in Pärnu which is now named H.D. Schmidt Ait, after the founder of the trade company.
This was the very first time they had the joy to see the exhibition in person and I am very pleased to say that not only did they like it, but they even learned some new facts about their Schmidt family legacy.
The exhibition is open to public and await everyone who is interested in the rich history in one truly successful family the Schmidt family.
